In today’s business world, companies can’t afford to ignore social media. Whether it’s for recruiting, marketing, sales, or employee engagement, social media for business is here to stay—that’s why you need an effective social media strategy.

The mere presence of a company on a social media platform does not show good execution. Often, a company’s social media strategy enlists the person in the office who spends the most time on social media. An effective strategy for social media means having a plan and executing it well. Creating thoughtful, meaningful, and consistent posts is an effective way to boost  your brand across several platforms.

Social media is not only about talking to your target audience; it can help learn about your audience in ways unknown before by using analytics and data-driven tactics. Analytics gleaned from the most basic social media platform can provide marketing teams great insight about their audience--from age, location, and income, to even what pizza chain they prefer. Marketing is all about knowing your audience, and social media makes it that much easier.

During the session, participants will learn:

  • Why social media is a must for all businesses
  • How to interpret data gleaned from audience reports and measure ROI via social media
  • How to plan and minimize time devoted to social platforms
  • Best practices for businesses and internal social media policies
