Higher Education Client Panel
13 November 2007
Panelists included the College of William & Mary’s Wayne Boy, PE; Virginia Commonwealth University’s Brian Ohlinger, PE; Christopher Newport University’s Hunter Bristow, RA; and Will Johnson with Virginia Community College Systems.
Roughly 50 principals, project managers, business development and marketing types, and others turned out Nov. 13th for SMPS Virginia’s Higher Education Client Panel in Williamsburg. The four panelists each spoke briefly about their biggest challenges and issues relating to design and construction. Their slides from the program, as provided, can be downloaded and reviewed here. Note that Hunter Bristow did not use or speak to slides during his presentation. And that, friends, is the value of attending an SMPS Virginia program.
This Panel represents the first in a series of Client Panels the Chapter is offering in the coming months. In February, watch for a Developer’s Panel; followed by a Procurement Officers Panel in April.
