Sustainable Design Consulting, LLC has an immediate need in our Richmond, VA office for a Marketing Manager working a minimum of 30 hours a week (with benefits). The successful candidate will have 5-7 years marketing experience with a degree in a related field. Experience in an Architectural / Engineering firm or related field preferred. Candidates must possess excellent communication and organizational skills, with a depth of understanding of the green building industry. Candidates must be proficient in MS Office programs, FileMaker Pro, Internet research and PowerPoint. Advanced graphic design skills are a plus. LEED Green Associate or LEED Accredited Professional credentials also a plus.
The Marketing Manager functions as the general point person for a team of company marketing and business development participants and plays a key role in representing the company to outside firms and prospective clients.

VJ Associates is a 25-year-old construction consulting firm with offices in New York, New Jersey, and Massachusetts. We specialize in providing cost estimating, scheduling, project management and project control services to major architectural, engineering, government agency and construction clients.
We are seeking a Director of Business Development to help launch our fourth office in D.C. and begin serving the D.C., Virginia, and Maryland design and construction markets. The qualified candidate will have at least 10 years of experience and demonstrated a successful track record in developing new business for subconsultants for design and/or construction related firms in the D.C. metro area.
Responsibilities include:
· Targeting potential architectural and/or government agency clients in the Washington, DC, Maryland and Virginia region.
· Launching the DC office and generating a revenue stream to be able to hire technical staff.
· Building a network of key contacts within the Architecture/Engineer/Construction area networks.
· Responding to leads and maintaining lines of communication with prospective clients.
· Preparing and responding to RFQs, RFPs and government pre-bid documentation.

The Proposal Marketing Coordinator is responsible for the development, organization, production, quality control, and timely delivery of qualification statements, proposals, presentations, and related marketing materials such as brochures, resumes, and project sheets. The position involves research, technical and creative writing, and graphical support. The Proposal Marketing Coordinator collaborates with Business Developers, technical staff and outside consultants. Qualifications and Skill Set
The successful candidate will possess:
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or English preferred

Experienced in production, leading and managing the proposal and interview process

Description: HDR is currently in need of a Transportation Marketing Manager who will be responsible for all business development activities within our Virginia Transportation Business Group program. This individual should be based in Northern Virginia and will be expected to lead, develop, and monitor the transportation marketing program for the state, which will include development of client relationships, marketing strategies, budgets/costs, goals and action plans to attain them. All of this will be done in coordination with regional and local management for the HDR Transportation Business Group. They will also lead in the development of annual and long term strategic office planning in coordination with regional efforts, and assess/develop new markets and trends, all while maintaining and improving existing client relationships and services. Finally, they will also be expected to lead marketing strategies, proposal preparation coordination, presentations, negotiations, and serve as a company role model in the business and community including civic involvement.
